FIREFIGHTERS from Oswestry have helped rescue a Cow from a ditch in Gobowen.
On Friday, May 22, two crews from Oswestry and third from Wellington were called to Iron Mills in the village at around 4.05pm on Friday after reports of the cow in trouble.
Firefighters liaised with the farmer on how best to rescue to cow, which was then freed using line strops and manpower by 6.30pm.
