POLICE in Oswestry posted on social media to highlight the problem of littering in the area.
Oswestry Safer Neighbourhood Team were patrolling Croeswylan Lane when they discovered a plastic bag and several empty cans left on the ground in nearby fields.
The mess was left in fields which contained livestock, posing a potential health risk for the animals.
The post on Twitter, which featured pictures of the litter, read: “Patrolling Croeswylan Lane, Oswestry and came across this mess in a field with livestock.”
