AN INQUEST has been opened into the death of a former fishmonger from Oswestry.
Delsie Williams, 80 and from Maesbury Marsh was found unresponsive by her daughter and her granddaughter at her home on May 12.
Although Ms Williams lived alone, she was being visited by her daughter and her granddaughter as they lived next door.
Her daughter and granddaughter had gone for a walk and returned less than an hour later to find Ms Williams unresponsive.
West Mercia Police attended the scene but there were no suspicious circumstances.
The inquest has been adjourned until September.
