FIREFIGHTERS were called to a fire in the open in Ellesmere on Wednesday morning.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service was called to the incident in Tetchill Brook Road at 11.15am.
One fire engine from Ellesmere was sent to the incident, which involved two trees.
The crew used a hosereel jet to extinguish the blaze, and spent more than an hour at the scene before the fire was fully extinguished.
