FOLLOWING on from the announcement that the home-moving market has reopened, Barbers are now adopting a balanced approach to comply with government guidelines.
The estate agent, which has an office in Whitchurch, is taking a number of measures to operate safely in a coronavirus environment.
Some measures being taken by the firm include no casual viewings of properties, appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) being worn when undertaking a house viewing and viewings being restricted to two people.
Mike Arthan, Barbers' managing director, said his firm continues to make sure everyone’s safety remains a top priority.
He said: “Barbers have remained operational for the last eight weeks, maintaining good client and customer contact, providing effective advice on sales/lettings transactions, as well as ongoing property management and accounting support.
"New enquiries for property valuations and viewings are currently extremely high now that we are able arrange both physical and virtual appointments.
"The considerable pent-up demand seen during lockdown has generated extra levels of activity in the Shropshire housing market and we are delighted to be very busy.”
