A RHYL resident has been using time during furlough to ensure Denbighshire GPs have stocks of vital PPE..
Jason Griffiths, who works for Currys PC World has made visors at home using his 3D printing machine for the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Baord run practice based primarily at Ty Nant in Prestatyn.
The practice - which also branch surgeries in Meliden and Rhuddlan - as well as Ffynongroyw in Flintshire - has 12 doctors, and also received supplies from Prestatyn High School.
Dr Rachael Read said: "It means a lot to us as a practice that people have used their own time and resources to provide us visors.
"This is welcome support not just for our safety, but those of the patients we visit and see at the practice.
"Since Jason’s donation to us he has continued making visors and donating them directly to the health board for distribution."
