STUDENTS from the Marches Academy Trust have been encouraged to keep exercising through lockdown from a Paralympic gold medalist.
Paralympic wheelchair racer Hannah Cockroft MBE sent the special message to students on Thursday, urging them to stay safe as well as staying fit and healthy.
Hannah, 27, is a five-time Paralympic gold medalist as well as a multiple-world-record holder for her various disciplines and her video has been shared across the Trust's social media accounts, as well as to parents.
A spokesman for the Marches Academy Trust said they were starstruck to have someone like Hannah send a message.
They said: "We are so grateful to Hannah Cockroft who kindly sent us this lovely video, can you believe it, a champion has taken the time to say hi to us all.
"We are so honoured and can't wait to see her race again soon."
