A TATTOO artist has inked his appreciation of the quick evolution of Venue Cymru into a hospital.
The theatre has been selected as one of North Wales' three 'Rainbow' hospitals - named Ysbyty Enfys - alongside similar operations in Bangor and Deeside.
While the hospital has currently not been required by Betsi Cadwaldr Health University Board, long serving Venue Cymru events assistant - and tattooist at Sacrament Tattoo Collective in Rhyl - Dan Taylor has penned the colourful tribute to staff who made the transformation possible.
A spokesperson for the venue said: "Dan was inspired by how Venue Cymru was transformed into something so important so quickly. He’s used to seeing the venue evolve quickly between conference, events and theatre productions but this transformation is vital during such a difficult time.
"We thank everyone involved with this - and of course all in the NHS and those working front line and offering services.
"The image was drawn as a reminder on how we can all pull together as a community."
