FIREFIGHTERS from Wem have helped prevent a potential environmental disaster, after a oil tank in Clive developed a leak.
At 11.45am on Thursday, May 7, 2020, firefighter received a call of a fuel leak at a property in High Street.
One crew from Wem was mobilised, as well as a hazmat officer.
The crew used an environmental grab pack to prevent around 900 litres of heating oil from leaking into water course from a split tank.
Firefighters were on the scene for around 15 minutes.
