MALPAS and Oswestry have been back in action in the online Four Nations Chess League.

It was a slightly disappointing night the Malpas and Oswestry teams in the 4NCL Online, with losses for the first and second teams, partly compensated by another win by the third team.

In Division 1, the first team, Arkell’s Angels lost for the first time.

Division 1 is split into four all-play-all groups and the top two teams after seven rounds go forward to the quarter finals in June.

They will now have to win their next three games on May 5, 12 and 19 to qualify.
