Royal Shrewsbury Hospital
ONE more patient has died from COVID-19 at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust (SaTH), it was confirmed on Monday.
The latest death means the total number of patients to die from the virus at the trust to 77.
Staff at SaTH paid their respects to the patient who has died.
A spokesman said: "SaTH is currently treating patients who have tested positive for COVID-19 (coronavirus).
"Sadly we can confirm that 76 patients being cared for at our hospitals, and who had tested positive for COVID-19, have died. Two deaths have been announced today (Sunday).
"Our thoughts and condolences are with the families and friends of those patients at this very difficult and distressing time."
