TWO more patients have died from COVID-19 at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital Trust (SaTH), hospital bosses have confirmed.
It means that nine patients have died over the weekend from the illness, with more than 20,000 people dying in hospitals from COVID-19 so far.
Staff at SaTH paid their respects to the two patients who have died.
A spokesman said: "The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is currently treating patients who have tested positive for COVID-19 (coronavirus).
"Sadly we can confirm that 76 patients being cared for at our hospitals, and who had tested positive for COVID-19, have died. Two deaths have been announced today (Sunday).
"Our thoughts and condolences are with the families and friends of those patients at this very difficult and distressing time."
