CHESHIRE Fire and Rescue were called to two incidents on Wednesday, April 22.
Shortly before 3pm, one crew from Malpas was called to an address in Threapwood, to reports of a horse stuck upside down with its back legs stuck inside a metal gate.
The crew freed the horse from the gate and then handed it over to the care of vets.
Firefighters were in attendance for around 10 minutes.
And at around 10.30pm, firefighters were called to reports of a small fire in the open in Marbury.
One crew from Audlem was dispatched, using a hose reel jet to damp down the area.
