RESIDENTS from Whitchurch, Wem and everywhere in between have once again got together to show their support for the NHS and frontline workers.

Last week people across the country gave the NHS a round of applause as the UK entered the government-enforced lockdown.

But once again, you have all shown your support by joining the round of applause, some even banging pots and pans to make a positive racket.

We asked you to share your thanks on the Herald Facebook page, and you duly did, with Richard Bebbington saying: "Thank you to anyone that has to work."

Lisa Nicholson meanwhile added: "Clapping for all frontline workers from everyone at We Always Care ltd."

Kat Rogers joined in with the applause, despite being a care worker herself.

"I will still at work as a carer with all my colleagues, we will clap." she said.

And the residents of Liverpool Road in Whitchurch got thoroughly involved, stepping onto the street to make as much noise as possible to show their support.
