A SUPPLIES delivery service has been set up in Audlem, to assist people unable to travel during the coronavirus pandemic.
The scheme is being run by Audlem and District Community Action (ADCA), who are now providing support and food and prescription deliveries to people who are self-isolated or live alone and whose family, friends or neighbours are unable to help.
For those people needing support it is important that they receive it from people they know or trust.
The ADCA service covers the four local parishes of Audlem, including Buerton, Hankelow and Hatherton and Walgherton.
The scheme is in cooperation with the parish councils, Cheshire East Council, Audlem Medical Practice, Boots Chemists, Audlem Co-op, the Lord Combermere and other local groups and churches.
ADCA staff and volunteers continue to support the 80 older people and 100 carers who already work with the group, as well as a growing number of new people who have referred themselves for help.
People who would like the support of the ADCA should ring 07984 785907 or email on millnsr@talktalk.net
