A MAN from Malpas will attempt to visit all 20 Premier League stadiums in three days this summer to raise money for charity.

Jamie Davies, 25, will visit every stadium between June 4 and June 6, to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK

The journey will begin by visiting the London teams of the Premier League including the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs.

Following this, Jamie will leave the capital to head to the south coast teams, then onto the midlands, followed by the north east, before wrapping up the journey in the north west by crossing the finish line at Old Trafford, the home of Jamie’s favourite team – Manchester United, on the day of Soccer Aid 2020, which is being held at the stadium.

In the build-up to the summer event, Jamie will work alongside the football clubs involved by gathering sports memorabilia and prizes to raffle and auction off.

Jamie says that his Dad's fight against the disease was one of the key reasons behind the charity mission.

“I think I always wanted to give something back," said Jamie.

"I feel very lucky that my Dad got to see me grow up otherwise, I would have lost him at the age of nine or 10.

"A childhood without your Mum or Dad must be heart breaking, they are your upbringing.

"They feed you everything they know in time to get you prepped for the growing steps of life. That’s incredibly important!

“Prostate Cancer UK is doing awesome things and a charity I’ve followed closely for a while now and has been close to my heart.

"They’ve made a big impact in the footballing world with their branding.

"Their Men United pin badges are seen being worn by notable football managers and also the charity’s badge has been featured on the back of football shirts in the EFL.

“I just feel doing this challenge would help prevent future prostate cancer cases and at the same time, get that monkey off my back as I don’t feel I’ve really appreciated that my Dad got a second chance.

"He’s my best mate and my football TV buddy."

Jamie is looking to raise £1,000 for charity, and money can be donated at www.justgiving.com/fundraising/thepremtour
