TWO people are in hospital following a multi-vehicle crash on the A55.
Motorists are stuck in long queues stretching back to Rhos-on-Sea.
This incident happened between J23 Llanddulas and J24 Abergele, travelling Eastbound.
Traffic Wales (North and Mid) tweeted: "A55 J23 Llanddulas to J24 Abergele travelling eastbound Road now open. We may require a lane closure shortly for vehicle recovery however we will keep you updated.
"Thank you for your patience."
An eye-witness said: "I saw three vehicles. Two ambulances were in attendance and one fire engine and police were on scene."
A spokeswoman for the North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said a call was received at 8.11am and two crews were at the scene.
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called today, Wednesdaym February 26 at approximately 8.14am to reports of a multi vehicle road traffic collision on the A55 near Pensarn.
"We sent two emergency ambulances to scene and two patients were conveyed to Glan Clwyd Hospital.”
