A GIRL from Whitchurch has braved the salon by having a haircut for charity.
On Saturday, January 24, Harley Gallimore-Johnson, 7, had the haircut to raise money for the Little Princess Trust, a charity that provides real hair wigs free of charge to children and young people.
Harley had 10 inches of hair cut by Headquarters in Whitchurch, which she donated to the charity, while also raising £315 for the charity in the process.
This is not the first time Harley has donated her hair to the charity, having donated 12 inches two years ago, raising £465 in the process.
Each wig costs between £300 and £500 to produce so Harley’s fundraising has helped towards the cost of two wigs alongside her hair donations.
