CYCLO-cross star Isaac Vickery has been picking up the prizes for his exploits in the sport over the last year.

The Wem youngster dominated the West Midlands Cyclo-Cross League (WMCCL) last season, picking up a near perfect points haul across the various races.

It has been a bit of a wait since the end of the season in late December but the youngster has finally received his much deserved prizes.

At the WMCCL annual awards ceremoney, held in Kings Heath, Birmingham, Isaac colected his Under-10 West Midlands Cyclocross Series trophy from star of the sport Beth Crumpton, who had just returned home from representing Great Britain at the UCI World Cyclo-Cross Championships in Switzerland.

And last weekend Isaac attended the Mid Shropshire Wheelers annual award presentation where he was proud to receive the Mountain Bike Shield for his undefeated 2019 season.

Isaac has been training hard for the upcoming mountain bike season, which kicks off on March 1 at Cannock Chase in the Run and Ride Cannock Chase Winter MTB Classic.
