WEST Mercia Police are appealing for witnesses after two men demanded money from an elderly man in Wem.
The incident happened at around 10.30am on Monday, February 3 at an address in Station Road in Wem, where the victim was harassed for payment for gardening work they had allegedly carried out.
The victim handed over money to the two men, who left when informed that the police had been called.
It is believed they were driving a red Citroen, with the vehicle registration PF04 EPX.
Officers say they are carrying out enquiries and appealing for witnesses, including any motorists with dashcams who were in Station Road between 10.15am and 10.40am on Monday.
