FIREFIGHTERS from Chester have tackled a chimney fire in Hampton Heath.
The fire was reported at around 5.12pm on Monday, January 20 at a residential address in Witney Lane.
One fire engine from Chester attended the fire, and on arrival the crew discovered the fire was contained to the chimney.
Firefighters used a 13.5 metre ladder to access the roof of the building, they then used specialist chimney rods to extinguish the fire.
The crew were in attendance at the incident for around two hours.
