A landlord will be seeking a new adventure after a quarter of a decade in the business.
Erbistock's The Boat will be seeking a new captain after landlord Ian Pritchard Jones has decided on a change of direction after 25 years of running pubs.
Fully refurbished and under new ownership, historic waterside inn and restaurant The Boat is looking for a new general manager after saying a sad farewell to its highly-regarded landlord.

Co-owners at The Boat Graham Price and Ed Chantler, said they valued his enthusiasm and professionalism as they worked as a team to return the pub to a vibrant and popular country inn and eating house.
The Boat, at Erbistock, near Wrexham, is now seeking a 'forward-thinking, experienced and energetic general manager' to navigate the next steps for the mid-17th Century riverside inn.
Graham Price added: βThe Boat prides itself on the quality of its food and drink enjoyed in traditional surroundings with a creative contemporary twist.
Ian Pritchard Jones
"This is a great opportunity for the right person to be a part of something special.
"We have big ambitions for The Boat. We are fortunate enough to have Ian remaining with us to help recruit his replacement β and The Boat has other attractions for any potential landlord.
"The post comes with a detached three-bedroom family house with generous gardens and one of the best views over the river."

Mr Pritchard Jones said food and drink is in his 'DNA' but it is time for a change.
He told the Leader: "Food and drink is in my DNA but after all my working life spent in pubs and restaurants, I feel now would be a good time to explore other avenues within this industry.
"I quite fancy trying my hand in the world of wine. I'm a fluent Welsh speaker so hopefully a Welsh food company could use my knowledge and skills.β
The Boat re-opened after significant investment in renovation and remodelling last year.
