MATT FORDE: BREXIT, PURSUED BY A BEAR
(Lyceum Theatre in Crewe, Monday, February 20)
Following a completely sold-out and critically-acclaimed month long run, including extra shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Matt Forde will visit Crewe as part of his biggest nationwide tour to date with his new stand-up show, Brexit, Pursued By A Bear.
Broken pledges. Fake deadlines. And that’s just Britain’s leading political comedian, once again promising his last show as an EU citizen (maybe).
Former political adviser Matt Forde is known for his podcast The Political Party, a weekly celebration of politics and its personalities, and the Dave TV show Unspun with Matt Forde.
He has also appeared on Have I Got News For You, Mock the Week and The Royal Variety Performance.
He has brought Parliament to life with his stand-up and debate with some of politics’ most powerful and notorious figures, including Ed Balls, Tony Blair, Alastair Campbell, Nigel Farage, Harriet Harman, Neil Kinnock, Jacob Rees-Mogg, Michael Portillo, Lord Prescott, Jack Straw, Nicola Sturgeon and Dame Tessa Jowell.
Tickets cost £19 and can be booked from crewelyceum.co.uk or via the box office on 01270 368 242.
