FIREFIGHTERS have rescued a woman who had fallen in countryside near Malpas.
The casualty had fallen down a steep embankment in the hills near to Coppermine Lane at around 3.20pm on Thursday, January 9.
Firefighters assisted North West Ambulance Service and Cheshire Police with rescuing the casualty.
One fire engine attended from Nantwich and the rope rescue unit attended along with a fire engine from Lymm.
The woman was rescued using a longboard and handed over to paramedics and crews remained at scene for forty minutes.
