It has been a busy week for members of the Herald Camera Club.

They’ve been out and about taking all sorts of photographs, to the point where we had enough to fill two pages!

Kicking things off we have a visit to Chester Zoo and some fighting tigers from Kathryn Goddard, while Geoff Hughes sent in a beautiful sunrise shot over Malpas FC on match day.

Claire Mayers also captured a Malpas sunrise, while Laura Butler spotted this colourful cock pheasant.

And rounding off this first page is a couple of pictures from Carl Wynn of his boys enjoying Ellesmere just after Christmas.

On to page two and we have the sun setting over Cholmondeley by Matt Haycocks, some narrowboat neighbours having a festive morning chat in Ellesmere by Frederick Williams.

Kate Long sent in two images with a bird of prey watching intently, plus a grouse in Llangollen, while Rob Copper visited Chester for this great black and white image.

And rounding things off are two more from Laura Butler, the one of a young orangutan at Chester Zoo and the other of a robin which says keeps following her.
