A MAN has died following a serious collision in Wrexham, police have said.
North Wales Police was alerted just before 3.30am on Sunday (January 5) to a report of a single vehicle being involved in a collision on the A525 at Horseman's Green.
The force confirmed three people on board the vehicle were taken to hospital, two with serious injuries and one with life-threatening injuries.
A police spokesman confirmed late on Monday night that a man has died following the collision, adding: "His family have been informed and are asking for privacy at this difficult time."
In a statement on Sunday, Sgt Nikki Grimes-Williams of the Roads Policing Unit said: “The investigation is ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding this collision and we are keen to hear from anyone who may have been travelling on the A525 between Whitchurch and Horseman’s Green at around 3am this morning.
"We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have seen a silver BMW X3 travelling along this stretch of road, and in particular those who may have any dash cam footage.”
