A VAN fire in Wem over the weekend saw fire crews from three towns called out.
At 8.13pm on Sunday, January 5, Shropshire Fire and Rescue received a call reporting a property fire in Tilley Green in Wem.
Engines were mobilised from Wem, as well as Prees and Shrewsbury. An operations officer was in attendance.
The fire involved a transit van, which had spread to an exterior door and guttering on adjacent property.
Firefighters used two hose reel jets and two sets of breathing apparatus to extinguish fire.
The fire had been extinguished shortly before 9pm.
