Meanwhile, Malpas YFC has enjoyed a good Christmas of celebrations and carols.

The teams held its Christmas dinner towards the end of last week while also taking part in a carol singing service in Lower Peover, towards Knutsford, at the start of December, joining with a number of groups from the wider Cheshire Young Farmers Clubs area.

Malpas YFC also headed to Deeside for a night of ice-skating, showing the diverse activities the group has to offer younger people around Malpas and the surrounding villages.

The month started with the club celebrating their brilliant achievement in finishing second at the Cheshire YFC 2019 Entertainments final.

Malpas performed ‘Class Wars’ and were only pipped at the post by Beeston YFC who performed a story around the issue of mental health.
