A POPULAR fun run through the Oswestry countryside is looking for runners to sign up for next year's event.
The 'Muddy fun Run' which takes place over Sweeney Mountain, will once again take place in March.
Next year's event will be the fifth official running, although it was cancelled in 2018 thanks to the Beast from the East.
Organiser Lizzie Lawrence is hoping people get involved again, despite an unfortunate clash with the Marches School 10k event.
"We're taking entries for next year's event, to be held on March 1, 2020,2 said Lizzie.
"We do it for the veterans charity SSAFA, who do a hell of a lot of work.
"We support the local branch in Shrewsbury, so it's all for charity, we don't keep any of the money.
"John Osmond always helps out and this year we have prizes on offer."
