A SHOP in Whitchurch is gearing up for Christmas by providing a place for children to send their letters to Santa.

A post box has appeared in Sentiments, Green End, allowing children to post their Christmas wish lists, to be decided if they have been naughty or nice.

Until December 13, children who use the postbox will also then receive a reply from Santa.

Jayne Griffiths, who runs Sentiments says the scheme is as popular as ever, with some Whitchurch children having posted a letter for several years.

“Tyler and Macey Macrae have been using our magic post box for four years now and love receiving their personalised letters from Santa,” said Jayne.

“For a small donation of £4, you will receive a letter to fill in to send to Santa and everyone will receive a personalised reply from Santa.

“This year all donations will be given to Team Clare, for Ward 23 Shrewsbury Hospital and the Lingen Davies Trust in loving memory of Clare Ashley.

“We would like to wish all our customers and the lovely people of Whitchurch and their families a wonderful Christmas.”
