AN INTREPID team of volunteers from Wem have been making the most of the break in the weather to do their bit to clean up the town.
The group, knows as the 'Wembles', have begun to organise litter picks across the town every few months.
Organised by Kate Johnston, the group conducted their first pick in the Summer, and have once again collected a wide variety of rubbish from Wem's streets.
"Lots of rubbish today from broken glass, an abandoned umbrella, old shoes and clothes a wind break and lots of beer cans and bottles," said Kate.
"Well done everyone."
