THE latest donations from Ellesmere League of Friends (LoF) have been handed over to worthy causes.
The LoF charity supports and supplements the services provided by the Ellesmere Community Care Centre (CCC), for the health, welfare and comfort required for its day centre and adult learning disabilities group.
It also contributes to the provision of facilities and upkeep of the building and equipment which may be required for treatment or for the efficient running of the CCC.
All funds raised by Ellesmere LoF are raised through its charity shop in Scotland Street and the charity is run entirely by hard-working volunteers.
The latest cheques have been given to Ellesmere Youth Project, Ellesmere Carnival, Ellesmere Rangers Football Club, The Movement Centre at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital and the Community Arts Project at Our Space.
