POLICE are warning drivers in north Shropshire to be extra careful when driving.
West Mercia Police (WMP) wants drivers to be more wary of animals on the road.
There were reports of a cow on the A528 road between Cockshutt and Ellesmere at 10pm on Thursday, October 3.
Also, at 2.30am on Friday, October 4, there were reports of a cow on the B5069 road near St Martins.
Elsewhere, mud has been causing problems for drivers and highways as the last of the harvest is being collected in the recent rains.
WMP is urging road users to drive with care and be aware of animals on the road.
