WHITCHURCH Young Farmers held their new members evening at Whitchurch Rugby Club earlier this month.
The club welcomed 80 people for an evening of fun, games, information and chip butties and 30 new members signed up on the night.
Press officer Sophie Vernon said: “The evening was a great way to celebrate National Young Farmers’ Week and inform others about what Young Farmers is all about. The year looks to be off to a great start with new and current members jumping into competitions such as cheerleading and dancing that are coming up soon in the YFC calendar. The club are also holding their annual bonfire and fireworks night in Calverhall on November 1. Be sure to look out for signs around the town.
