A MUSIC school based at Wem Town Hall has had such a good response since opening it is starting another session for older students.
BackBeat Music School, which bases its teaching around modern instruments, forming bands and helping students of all ages develop a love of music has been running a junior session since early September on a Monday, however interest from older students and adults has now got to the point that more lessons can be run.
Ian Fourie, manager of BackBeat, said: “We’re delighted that the people of Wem and its surrounding area have embraced us into their community. Our junior session is growing week on week and we’re getting more and more enquiries from older teens and adults wanting lessons. Our second session will be for ages 14 and above but will still focus on learning a musical instrument, forming bands and having fun.”
