PETROLHEADS in Whitchurch had plenty to enjoy over the weekend, with some of the best vehicles around visiting a town garage.
Blackhurst Garages, based in Wrexham Road, were holding a car show to celebrate 80 years of business at their Shakespeare Way service centre.
To celebrate, earlier this month the garage put out an invitation for anyone with a rare, classic or unique vehicle to come and display, all while enjoying a bit of birthday cake too.
And it was an invite that was most definitely answered, with plenty of rare and lesser spotted cars visiting the site, including a TV star.
A Rolls Royce, as driven by James May on the 2011 Top Gear India Special was a star of the show, with the car having been rescued by current owner Keith Bagnall from a breakers yard.
Also on site was a memory board, which featured dozens of pictures from the garage's 80 year history, as well as various trophies the garage has won over the years.
Despite a bit of drizzle on the day people were not put off attending, with a post online saying "people and cars, the perfect Sunday".
