A staff member from a high school in Whitchurch has been praised for saving the life of a child.
Sir John Talbot's School has praised its 'unsung hero' Keith Robinson after his came across the youngster, who wasn't breathing, while on holiday in the summer.
Keith, assistant site manager, at the school, had arrived at the airport when he was made aware that his first aid skills were needed.
A spokesperson for the school said: "A young child had stopped breathing and required immediate first aid.
"Keith immediately took control of the situation and revived the lifeless child whose parents were understandably very distraught.
"Due to the extensive training that Keith had due to being part of the Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service, it is safe to say, he saved this young child’s life.
"We are extremely proud of Keith and the actions he took on this day – an incredible role model to the school and the fire service."
