A BUSINESS park on the outskirts of Whitchurch is offering a new incentive for people starting out in the world of business.

Park View Business Centre, on the edge of the Combermere Abbey Estate, is introducing flexible shared office space in the rural community.

This new innovation for the business centre will provide people with the opportunity to rent a desk for a day or to join the PVBC Co-working Membership group.

This latter programme will give people the chance to come into the centre whenever they want to, in order to benefit from the superfast broadband as well as the other onsite facilities.

With younger generations of workers setting up companies and operating on their own, Peter Beckett, managing director of Park View Business Centre, says this style of office occupation is likely to be of growing relevance when the demands for flexibility arise.

He adds that people working for large companies that operate hot-desking premises will now have another alternative when not commuting into the main corporate buildings.

“This new initiative is designed to appeal to freelancers and people who work remotely from their colleagues, who could be in similar situations around the country," said Mr Beckett.

"Our splendid spaces will offer another alternative to mobile workers and those who don’t want to commit to renting a designated office space.

"Sharing the office with others will hopefully generate a creative and fun place to be to develop their company’s business.

"It should certainly be a more productive and professional place to be working in comparison to the urban coffee bar.”
