A MOTORCYCLIST has been taken to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital with 'potentially serious' injuries following a two-vehicle road traffic collision (RTC) in Selattyn on Wednesday afternoon.
West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) received a call at 2.32pm reporting a collision between a car and a motorcycle on the B5479 Glyn Road in Selattyn.
A spokesman for the WMAS said: "We sent one ambulance and Wales Air Ambulance were in attendance. West Mercia Police and Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) also attended.
"One patient has been treated for potentially serious injuries and has been taken to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital by land ambulance."
SFRS received the call at 2.36pm and one fire appliance was mobilised to the road traffic collision.
The incident report states: "RTC involving one 4x4 and one motorcyle. No persons trapped. Crews made vehicles safe."
