MORETON Hall students will return to school on Wednesday morning after the summer holidays to be greeted by a new principal.
The pupils will be met by George Budd, who has previously been working at Godolphin School, an all-girls boarding school in Salisbury as the deputy head academic.
George, who is joined by his wife Nicky at Moreton Hall, says he is delighted to have made the move to Shropshire and cannot wait to meet with the pupils and the wider community.
"Nicky and I are thrilled to have made the move to Shropshire,” said George.
"We were so impressed with the strong sense of community at Moreton Hall from the moment we first arrived and are delighted to now call this wonderful school our home.
"We look forward to meeting Moretonians and parents past, present and future, and those local people and organisations engaged with the school in all manner of ways in the coming year."
