THE sun was shining down on families and their furry friends as they headed to a family fun day and dog show in Ellesmere
The event held in the Mere’s gardens was run by Beachin Dog Therapy Pool, based in Chester, and sponsored by Cobbydog.
Proceeds are being donated to the Yellow and Blue charity (YaB) which aims to create a hub to help support people who have just had a cancer diagnosis and also their families, by providing them with people to turn to and a place to relax.
There were 10 classes for people to enter their dogs into, with a mix of pedigree and fun classes, all overlooked by dog show judge, Pauline Amphlett.
And one class in particular, ‘Dog the Judge would most like to take Home’, proved to be extremely popular with entries from nearly 30 dogs.
On the company’s Facebook page, visitors were thanked for their support for the show that “may well be back next year”.
