ENQUIRIES are underway into a car fire in Whitchurch on Friday.
At 10am on Friday, Shropshire Fire and Rescue received a call of a car on fire at Whitchurch Rugby Club.
Two fire appliances from Whitchurch and Prees attended the blaze, alongside an operation officer.
In dealing with the blaze firefighters required the use of breathing apparatus, a hosereel jet and small gear.
The fire was extinguished 20 minutes later but North Shropshire Safer Neighbourhood Team have confirmed they are opening enquiries.
Market Drayton Safer Neighbourhood Team tweeted: "PCSO King assisting @NorthShropCops in Whitchurch today. Been out to this car that was burnt out earlier. Enquiries ongoing."
