FIREFIGHTERS were called out to an incident at an address in Whitchurch High Street on Friday morning.
The incident was reported at 9.20am, with an engine from Whitchurch quickly arriving on the scene, with an engine from Prees arriving a few minutes later.
It was quickly discovered that the incident was a false alarm, caused by dust in the smoke detector.
After a brief inspection, firefighters left the scene around 20 minutes later.
