A TRACTOR run in Tallarn Green has more than £2,000 for charity.

The tractor run took place on July 14, and featured around 90 tractors taking a trip through the lanes and villages around Tallarn Green.

After arriving at Bickley Club for a refreshment break, the tractors then took a leisurely route back home.

The day was completed with a hog roast and a prize draw.

Thanks to the fundraising efforts of the organisers, £2,300 was raised towards Multiple Sclerosis.

In a letter written to the event's sponsors after the event, the organisers praised the efforts of everyone involved.

"Many thanks to everyone who supported us, all the raffle donations and the tractor entries who registered on the run," said Gerald Siddorn.

"This amazing amount of money would not have been possible without your generous raffle donations and the incredible people who bought so many tickets at this charitable event."
