Retirees in Audlem recently celebrated the opening of a new retirement home, joined by a daytime TV icon.
Guests were invited to take a tour of Lyme Wood Grange, based in McKelvey Way, and also had the opportunity to take a closer look at the new homeowners lounge and guest suite.
Gloria Hunniford, of Loose Women and Rip Off Britain, was in attendance to open the new home and gave a presentation discussing her life as one of the nation’s favourite television and radio presenters.
Fiona Brooks, regional sales and marketing director for home owners McCarthy and Stone North West, said: “We are absolutely delighted to officially open our latest retirement living development in Audlem.
"The development will provide retirees with the freedom of living independently, whilst having the reassurance of support on-hand if needed.
"Our doors are open for retirees to come and see for themselves what makes this development so unique and special."
