THE sun was shining for a summer fair in Whitchurch on Saturday.
Residents and staff at Cloverfields care home in Chester Road welcomed visitors for its annual summer fair, where there was an ice-cream van and entertainment to enjoy in the garden.
There was also a selection of refreshments and cakes, and a popcorn machine for everyone to enjoy.
The home's manager, Amanda Anderson was thrilled with the turnout and thanked everyone for their support.
She said: "The residents really enjoy this event.
"All the money raised will go to the residents activities and comfort fund.
"We get a lot of help and support from families of the residents and from staff – we wouldn't be able to do all this without them or the volunteers."
Marion Brocklehurst, activities coordinator added: "This fair is for the comfort fund, for all the residents' future events and entertainment during the year."
