A TRAPPED kitten was helped to freedom by the hard work of the fire services this afternoon.
One fire engine from Whitchurch was called to the scene at Caldecott Crescent shortly after 4.30pm.
Upon arrival, the firefighters discovered the kitten trapped between a shed and a fence panel.
The crew freed the kitten and left the scene shortly before 5pm.
