RHYL's Spencer Wilding took on two of the most creepiest roles during his latest 'magical' venture.

Spencer, who starred as Darth Vader in Star Wars Rogue One, plays werewolf Fenrir Greyback and a Death Eater in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite - a location-based augmented reality game inspired by JK Rowling's Wizarding World.

The Potter-themed successor to Pokémon Go allows players to enter a magical universe on their mobile phones and fight against mythical beasts, choose their wand and establish themselves as an official member of the wizarding world.

Spencer, 46, spent a week in Portugal filming for the game.

The kickboxing champion said: "This was my second time filming in Portugal. It's not a bad place to film.

"It is pretty cool to be involved in the game. When I went for the audition, I hoped I was in a pretty good shot of getting the role. I thought if I don't get it, coming up to 47-years-old, then that is that but I did, so that is great.

"I played Greyback and through the shoot, they asked me if I would play a Death Eater and I said I would, as long as I wasn't taking anybody else's job.

"It was great to film and working with the kids. I'd like to give a shout out to Emeka Sesay, Emily Coates and Finn Bennett. It was great working with such special souls and I can see them being about in 30 years times."

Spencer, who has three children, has appeared in Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, Guardians of the Galaxy, Batman Begins and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2.

He plays alien Luca Brasi in the new Men in Black: International film.

Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, developed by Niantic Labs and WB Games, under the Portkey Games label, has been launched in the UK and America and is being rolled out worldwide.

Spencer added: "I have already downloaded the game.

"One of my kids has it. He was sitting in the back of the car and put a spell on me!"
