It’s fair to say we’ve had a pretty bad week weather wise.

But although it may have been raining cats and dogs, our intrepid members of the Whitchurch Herald Camera Club have still been out and about capturing our region in all its finest.

This week’s round-up begins with a truly stunning sunset that was taken by Callum Beddows over a Shropshire mere.

Other visitors to the meres include Alison Utting who had a walk along the towpath at Blakemere, while Joanna Hughes sent in an image of her dog enjoying a trip to Colemere.

Then we also have a selection sent in by Poppy Hall, including two ducks enjoy a swim on the water, an image of the world-famous Pontcysyllte Aqueduct near Llangollen – have a look online later this week for more of Poppy’s images from that trip – and a steam train which she sent in following her visit to RAF Cosford earlier this month.

And rounding things off is Lucy Chidlow with her image of a hedgehog who visited her garden recently.

If you would like to join our Camera Club then why not visit our Facebook page where you can sign up and upload your photographs during the week. We include our top selection in the newspaper, but there’s always more online.

Alternatively, you can email your images to emily.lloyd@newsquest.co.uk but please include your name and a brief description of the image.

We look forward to seeing them.
