WELCOME back to this week’s Whitchurch Herald Camera Club and it shows to look up and around you when it comes to inspiration for your brilliant pictures.

Our regulars were out in force over the previous week and there were some outstanding snaps from you.

Poppy Hall must have wondered what that low rumble was on Sunday, only to look up and see an Avro Lancaster Bomber going past overhead, on its way to the RAF Cosford Airshow, with the Red Arrows hanging around as well.

Poppy took a smashing shot of the famous plane, which took part in the famous ‘Dambusters’ bombing in the Second World War.

But from there, the Camera Club takes a more sedate turn as Jill Adger’s lovely snap of a cottage in Colemere on an early summer’s walk.

Pat Merzelos sent in this lovely picture of a canal boat near Blakemere while Kathryn Goddard sent in her fantastic shot of Bodnant Gardens in Conwy while she out on a trip to the popular town in North Wales.

Lee Artist Images got up close and personal with a rose but we had a taste of late winter with Carl Wynn’s snap of Uttley Estate and an area known as Anne’s Alley.

But the ‘pièce de résistance’ was Rosie Hindley’s double rainbow over north Shropshire.
